About the Role

As a Research Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and Deliver: Engage in the full software development lifecycle using modern software development practices to build, test, and deliver high-quality tech solutions.
  • Build Scalable ML Solutions: Develop large-scale data processing pipelines and scalable systems crucial for training novel machine learning algorithms within large online delivery environments.
  • Collaborate: Work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment, sharing information and valuing diverse perspectives across functional and remote teams.
  • Agile Development: Bring a sense of urgency and adaptability to deliver solutions swiftly in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
  • Innovation: Employ a proactive approach to innovation, experimenting with new technologies and contributing to project solutions from conception to delivery.
  • Effective Communication: Articulate ideas clearly and collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners and team members on technical developments.

About You

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • A Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, or a related field, or an MCA.
  • At least 5 years of software engineering experience, ideally within the domains of machine learning and natural language processing.
  • Expertise in Python and familiarity with the Python data science stack (Numpy, Scipy, Pandas, etc.). Knowledge of other programming languages is a plus.
  • Experience in integrating, applying, and deploying Machine Learning capabilities into production environments.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure, and an understanding of ModelOps and MLOps principles.
  • A desire to continuously learn and engage with new and emerging technologies.
