Key Responsibilities

• Conduct research in machine learning with a focus on continual learning and its application in LLMs.
• Evaluate algorithms on general machine learning benchmarks or large foundation models such as LLMs.
• Stay current with the latest advancements in related fields.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you will need to bring the following:

• Ph.D. in computer science or related fields.
• Strong coding abilities, particularly using Python and Linux shell scripting.
• Excellent communication skills, alongside self-motivation, creative thinking, and attention to detail.
• Solid skills and knowledge in general machine learning and AI.
• Specialization or experience in continual learning or a related field.
• Experience in reinforcement learning and knowledge in differential geometry will be considered assets.
• Proven research experience, as evidenced by publications.
• PhD internship candidates are acceptable provided there is a one-year participation guarantee.
