Boston Dynamics AI Institute LLC is currently seeking a knowledgeable and skilled Roboticist – Machine Learning Engineer to join our innovative team in Cambridge, MA. Key Responsibilities:

The selected candidate will handle several strategic functions including:

• Data Science and ML Algorithms: Train, deploy, and maintain complex Machine Learning models using both cloud-based and on-premise infrastructures.
• ML Lifecycle Enhancement: Develop and optimize the processes, pipelines, and tools essential for training, evaluating, and deploying ML models.
• Pipeline Development: Construct and manage pipelines for data, models, and experiments.
• Advanced Robotics Technologies: Apply complex robotics and software technologies for model tuning, algorithm selection, and hyperparameter searching.
• Collaboration for Production: Work closely with research and applied science teams to transition models from development to production.
• Code Quality Assurance: Promote code quality and reliability through regular reviews.
• Cross-Functional Teamwork: Collaborate with diverse teams to enhance robotic capabilities, focusing on cognitive and athletic AI.

Minimum Requirements:

To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Data Science, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.
• At least 4 years of professional experience in various aspects of Machine Learning engineering.
• Proven expertise in developing high-performance ML models using C++ or Python.
• Strong background in deep-learning, applied in areas like NLP and Computer Vision.
• Extensive experience with popular data science tools and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Pandas, and more.
• Demonstrable experience with Machine Learning Ops including model versioning and deployment.
• Experience in creating orchestration workflows with tools like AirFlow or Kubeflow.
