About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an SAP Finance Data Specialist to join our team. As an SAP Finance Data Specialist, you will be responsible for the governance, quality, and maintenance of financial data within the organization's systems, ensuring consistent, accurate, and compliant financial data across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting MDM and SAP system upgrades, data migrations, and integration efforts related to financial data.
  • Defining data design/standards, policies, and procedures for financial data in SAP.
  • Monitoring data quality, performing root cause analyses, and driving remediation efforts.
  • Collaborating with Finance stakeholders and teams to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
  • Managing data requests, changes, and periodic maintenance activities related to financial data.
  • Providing guidance on data-related issues, resolving conflicts, and enforcing adherence to data policies.
  • Developing training materials and delivering training to data stewards and Finance users.
  • Tracking and reporting on key data quality metrics for financial data.
  • Staying updated on data governance and financial reporting best practices.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Experience in SAP data design/migration, data quality management, and data maintenance roles, with a focus on financial data.
  • Strong understanding of financial data and its importance in financial reporting and analysis.
  • Familiarity with financial systems and data management practices, particularly SAP FI-CO.
  • Knowledge of data standards, data quality practices, data governance principles, and financial reporting standards.
  • Excellent communication skills, English proficiency, and training skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
