About the Role

In your role within the D&A team at JLR's business unit—a proud part of Equifax since 2018—you will be vital in maintaining and evolving a variety of AI applications utilizing JLR data. Your responsibilities will also include compiling data for publishing insightful studies about the Quebec real estate market.

Since 1986, JLR has been continuously adapting and seeking innovative technologies and processes to exceed the growing demands of our customers. Our recent expansions into other Canadian provinces and the United States enable us to offer data services for all of North America.

Key Responsibilities

You will leverage your expertise in data structures, analytics, algorithms, models, and robust computer science fundamentals to lead the development of deployable solutions across multiple projects.

Tasks include:

  • Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large data sets to define and develop components of innovative solutions.
  • Leading the analytical strategy on critical technical capabilities.
  • Evaluating new data sources, recommending their potential value, and designing code to boost Equifax's productivity and updating as necessary.
  • Serving as the lead technical data scientist for multiple domains, developing predictive models, risk assessments, fraud detection strategies, and more.
  • Communicating complex analytical results to senior management and stakeholders, articulating the strategic impact of these findings.

Who Are We Looking For?

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline, with a Master's being highly desirable.
  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience, showcasing strong leadership skills.
  • A proven track record in designing and implementing predictive models and optimizing model performance.
