We are excited to announce an opportunity within our innovative company for a Senior AI/ML Data Scientist specializing in Natural Language Processing (NLP). This role is crucial as we develop and deploy state-of-the-art NLP products that transform unstructured and semi-structured data into actionable insights, aiding therapeutic research and development.

Essential Responsibilities:

As a key member of our cross-disciplinary team, you will:

• Create scalable ML and Generative AI applications such as Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Extract vital insights from proprietary data and biomedical literature.
• Develop advanced methods for text classification, relation extraction, and entity linking.
• Collaborate with bioinformaticians, engineers, and data scientists to leverage AI/ML in driving forward drug discovery and development.

What You Will Bring to the Role:

Your experience and skills will include:

• Fluency in Python, with solid knowledge of data management tools (e.g., Spark, Airflow).
• Proficiency in ML model deployment (e.g., MLOps, CI/CD practices).
• Experience with database operations, both non-relational and relational.
• Application development using APIs and web application frameworks.
• Statistical learning and NLP/Generative AI libraries, enhancing your capability in understanding and innovating on NLP projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

Candidates should have:

• A PhD in related fields such as Data Science or AI, or equivalent experience (Master's with 2+ years of experience or Bachelor's with 5+ years of experience specifically in NLP).
• Minimum of 2 years' experience with Python, Spark, or similar frameworks.
• At least 1 year of specialized experience in NLP, Generative AI, or similar techniques.
