Join Our Team as a Senior Associate Data Scientist

Are you passionate about data science and analytics? NTT DATA is looking for a developing subject matter expert to join our team as a Senior Associate Data Scientist. This role focuses on supporting the adoption of data science within our organization, developing data-driven solutions that add business value using statistical models, machine learning algorithms, data mining, and visualization techniques.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively design, develop, and program methods, processes, and systems to consolidate and analyze unstructured "big data" to generate actionable insights and solutions for client services and product enhancement.
• Research, design, implement, and deploy scalable data analytics and machine learning solutions to address business issues.
• Enhance data collection procedures to include information relevant for building analytic systems.
• Process, clean, and verify data used for analysis, building algorithms necessary for meaningful insights.
• Design and code software programs, algorithms, and automated processes to cleanse, integrate, and evaluate large datasets from diverse sources.
• Provide meaningful insights from large data and metadata sources, interpreting and communicating findings to product, service, and business managers.
• Support the design of scalable and highly available applications leveraging the latest tools and technologies.
• Creatively visualize and effectively communicate results of data analysis, insights, and ideas in various formats to key decision-makers within the business.
• Create SQL queries for data analysis and visualize model outputs.
• Ensure industry standards and best practices are applied to development activities.

Academic Qualifications and Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Data Science, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Relevant programming certification preferred.
• Agile certification preferred.

Required Experience

• Moderate experience in a data science role in a corporate environment or related industry.
• Experience in statistical modeling, data modeling, machine learning, data mining, unstructured data analytics, and natural language processing.
• Familiarity with programming languages (R, Python, etc.).
• Experience with data architectures, including extracting, cleaning, and transforming data.
• Experience working with data stakeholders to understand the data.
• Familiarity with visualizing and presenting data for stakeholder use.
