Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop tools such as spreadsheets and databases to clean and reconcile large data sets from various sources, diagnosing issues in existing processes or testing new ones.
  • Provide critical feedback on other analysts’ work, including reviewing solutions, concepts, writing, and aesthetics.
  • Understand and document clients’ existing investment accounting processes.
  • Conduct detailed gap analysis between current and desired investment accounting processes.
  • Collaborate with custom development and accounting service teams to test and implement solutions addressing the gap analysis.
  • Develop and document risk assessments for proposed solutions.

Nice to Have

  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and financial instruments.
  • Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and SQL.
  • Working knowledge of flow charts and GNU BASH (Linux/Unix terminal commands).
  • Experience with PowerBI and SQL.

Qualifications

BA/BS Degree in Accounting, Business, or Management Information Systems. Minimum of 3 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, and/or Process Analysis.
