Google is seeking a highly experienced Senior Customer Engineer, Machine Learning to enhance our Google Cloud sales efforts through technical expertise and innovative solution development. Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience as a sales engineer or technical consultant in a cloud computing environment or in a customer-facing role.
  • Profound knowledge in virtualization or cloud native architectures.
  • Extensive experience with big data, machine learning, and numerical programming frameworks such as TensorFlow, Python, MATLAB.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
  • Proven track record of building machine learning solutions using advanced architectures (e.g., deep learning, LSTM, convolutional networks).
  • Expertise in architecting and developing software or infrastructure for scalable, distributed systems.
  • Strong grounding in data and information management as it pertains to big data trends and issues within businesses.
  • Ability to swiftly learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies in the cloud/IT space.

About The Role

As a Customer Engineer specializing in Machine Learning for Google Cloud, you will deliver thought leadership and facilitate business transformations by providing tailored Google Cloud AI/ML solutions. Interaction with customers will be routine, aiming to establish foundational architectural blueprints and migration strategies to Google Cloud. Travel to customer sites, conferences, and other events is an integral part of this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify business opportunities, address customers' technical concerns, and develop strategies to overcome technical obstacles.
  • Provide in-depth machine learning expertise and lead the technical relationships with Google’s customers through product briefings and proof-of-concept work.
  • Recommend and prototype Google Cloud product integrations within customer environments to showcase the power and flexibility of Google Cloud solutions.
  • Partner with product management to prioritize solutions that enhance customer adoption.

What We Offer

The compensation package for this full-time role includes a base salary range of $181,000-$257,000, in addition to performance-based bonuses, equity, and various benefits. Salary is determined by role, level, location, and individual qualifications. Further details will be discussed during the hiring process.
