Join Our Team as a Senior Data, Architect (Principal Enterprise Architect) - Remote

Position Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Data Architect (Principal Enterprise Architect) with a background in enterprise architecture to collaborate with various divisions in reverse engineering products and exploring their inefficiencies. You will identify and capitalize on performance improvement opportunities and help stabilize product offerings while fostering a culture of partnership and continuous development.

This fully remote role offers the opportunity to report directly to the Director of Database Analysis & Development and work under the strategic guidance of the VP of IT Infrastructure & Operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design effective data architecture frameworks
- Develop models that support implementation of the intended business architecture.
- Define strategic data requirements and high-level integrated designs
- Ensure that the data architecture aligns with enterprise strategy and related business architecture.
- Guide the infrastructure and software architecture planning and implementation.

Required Job Qualifications

Experience:

• 5-7 years as an Enterprise Architect or similar role, utilizing agile practices in a major matrix organization.
• 10+ years in architecture on Azure, 5+ years in application architecture including Cloud Solutions, Big Data, and Data Modeling.
• Proven expertise in Data Architecture, Data Warehousing, and Business Intelligence.
• Advanced knowledge in SQL Server, Oracle, Postgres, MySQL and big data technologies.
• Proficiency in Azure DevOps (ADO) or Jira and legal authorization to work in the USA.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3+ years managing interdisciplinary teams and creating high-quality data pipelines.
• Extensive experience with Azure data platforms (Data Factory, Data Catalogs, Data Lake, etc.)
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field with substantial professional experience.
