As part of our strategic data transformation, the Chief Data Analytics Office (CDAO) team is modernizing our data production, ingestion, organization, and governance, ensuring it is always available, reliable, and ready for immediate use. The CDAO team leads the development of exceptional data, analytics, and technology capabilities to enhance financial well-being for our customers and communities. This team is pushing boundaries on data consumption, storage, and delivery within CommBank.
As a Senior Data Architect, you will drive the solution design to create world-class data products that inform business decisions, enhance customer experiences, and foster partnerships. Success in this role requires deep knowledge of data, analytics, supporting architecture, and advancing capabilities in processes, systems, and people. You will focus on building the cloud data platform best suited for the Group and supporting the broader data strategy.
As a key player in delivering value across CBA, the Senior Data Architect will define and implement data journeys aligned with strategic objectives. This high-impact role will involve working closely with senior leaders across the Group and supporting both the business banking and institutional banking units. Key responsibilities include:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. Strong understanding of marketing principles and best practices.
