Job Description

The successful candidate will serve as a technical liaison for projects related to Physical Server Hardware and Cloud solutions. The candidate will also ensure alignment with Deloitte’s Information and Technology architecture principles and objectives, as well as compliance with Technology Security Standards.

Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Engineering, or any related field

• Design architectural blueprints for projects related to Physical and Virtual Infrastructure (including Cloud solutions) outlining implementation objectives and methods.
• Cloud Experience must include Azure/AWS/GCP/Snowflake.
• End-to-end technology architecture design is required.
• Defining data management processes
• Defining Systems management processes
• Defining Business continuity processes
• Provision of consultancy to operations and projects:

• Development of solution designs
• Specialized troubleshooting
• Recommendation of solution options
• Guidance on the design and preparation of solutions for production-readiness
• Costing the solution and advisement on SLA attainability

• Development and Maintenance of Architecture standards
• Documentation and definition of On-Prem, Cloud Native, Hybrid-Cloud, and Multi-Cloud architecture integration patterns.
• Advisement on Security, Networking, and other foundational elements in consultation with solution SME’s
• Development and maintenance of the Cloud decision tree for Cloud readiness evaluations.
• Research and positioning of new technologies, industry trends and focus areas
• Optimization of infrastructure, Processes, and Costing
• Unlocking cost containment across on-prem and cloud technologies
• Risk assessment and mitigation planning for technology solutions
• Advice on and help with continuity planning, DR architecture, capacity, availability, performance planning, and service level management
• Calculation of the cost of implementation and ongoing support for solutions
• Conducting health checks on implementations
• Carrying out due-diligence for Cloud migration and producing necessary artifacts such as:

• As-Is Overviews
• To-Be Overviews
• Migration implementation approach
• Sequence of events
• Costing (One-time and Ongoing)

• Perform technology roadmap planning in relation to technology solutions
• Help with the establishment and enforcement of related architectural governance and ensuring alignment with Enterprise Architecture frameworks
• Participation in the execution of architectural consulting and review functions including due diligence (RFI and RFP) investigations.
