Position Summary Join the Data and Analytics Engineering team to spearhead data, analytics, and insight initiatives that revolutionize the healthcare sector. As a principal member of the data engineering team, your job will be to develop and deliver superior data products and analytics solutions on Google Cloud / Azure Platform and in-house infrastructure for the Pharmacy Specialty Service Analytics & Behavior Change group. • Collaborate with business partners to identify opportunities to exploit structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data to make analytics quicker, more insightful, and more efficient. • Develop cutting-edge data solutions utilizing core data technologies in support of future-oriented actions. • Implement high-capacity data architecture and data platforms facilitating the integration, management, and analysis of huge data sets from multiple sources. • Collaborate with data scientists on preparing feature sets, deep exploration of data elements, and integrate ML and NLP-based models into the data pipeline and move models into production. • Overhaul existing in-house solutions to the cloud platform as well as tackle performance optimization of the data pipelines. • Adopt a DevOps mindset to enable big data and batch/real-time analytical solutions leveraging emerging technologies. You will be operating in a hybrid role (3 days a week onsite) at a CVS Health or Aetna office in Irving, TX; Phoenix, AZ; Boston, MA; Wellesley, MA; Hartford, CT; NYC or Chicago, IL. Required Qualifications • 5+ years of experience in data analytics, including hands-on experience in data integration • 5+ years of experience in ETL pipelines, data architecture and design patterns, data security, cloud engineering, and automation • 2+ years of experience with Python and/or PySpark • 2+ years of experience with cloud platforms (preferred GCP, AWS or Azure acceptable) Preferred Qualifications • Ability to effectively communicate technical ideas and results to non-technical clients in both written and verbal formats. Collaborative and communicative abilities within and across teams. • Proven ability to create innovative solutions to highly complex technical problems. • Capable to convert analytical problems and business requirements into technical requirements and then into implementation. • Strong analytical, conceptual thinking, and problem-solving abilities. • Experience in creating and implementing data transformation and processing solutions. • Capable to comprehend and build intricate systems and resolve tricky analytical problems. Education Bachelor's degree or comparable work experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Machine Learning, or related discipline. Master’s degree preferred. Pay Range The standard pay range for this role is from $90,000.00 to $180,000.00. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or the base annual full-time salary for all positions within the job grade for this role. The actual base salary offer will rely on various factors, including experience, education, location, and other relevant factors. This position qualifies for a CVS Health bonus, commission, or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range mentioned above.
