Role Synopsis

The job role involves handling our rapidly expanding Analytics practice which works with clients in the BFSI sector. The holder of this position will be responsible for leading large teams and delivering analytical solutions in the areas of Retail Bank Marketing and Risk Analytics for clients in India and the Middle East. This is a senior role with primary focus on Analytics Delivery, Presales support, and building the Analytics practice.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Understanding of BFSI business drivers.
• Insight into key business and risk KPIs for retail banking products.
• Providing innovative thoughts to projects to develop unique solutions and deliver analytical results.
• Hands-on model development for BFSI clients using ML techniques.
• Validation and surveillance of the in-house models.
• Collaborating with the Equifax bureau in India to build bureau-based Analytics capabilities and implementing these solutions using new age technology.
• Guiding and nurturing junior consultants and analysts within the team.

Required Experience and Skills

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in BFSI analytics/implementing models/Big data/Cloud solutions.
• Credit risk modeling development experience is a prerequisite. 
• Proficiency in SAS/R/Python coding is a necessary technical skill.
• Experience in regulatory modeling development is a plus (ECL, Stress testing & IFRS9).
• Highly analytical with prior experience of working in teams. 
• Self-initiator with high energy levels able to work in a high-velocity environment. 
• Thorough business and credit risk understanding. 
• Flexibility to work in project-based tasks across diverse categories of banking clientele.

• Outstanding Presentation Skills, writing skills, and Documentation Skills (MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
• In-depth knowledge in the financial services sector, particularly banking.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in working with customers, teams, and other internal departments to achieve common objectives.
