Job Role: We are seeking a seasoned Sr. Data Scientist to take on a technical leadership role in our A.I. business unit. The successful candidate will directly support Blackpoint's cybersecurity mission, aid in thwarting cyber-attacks, and provide protection for Blackpoint's rapidly expanding customer base. Overview: As a Sr. Data Scientist, your main responsibility will be to develop Blackpoint Cyber's data science solutions in order to advance our A.I. products and features. You will report directly to the Head of Artificial Intelligence. Ideal Candidate: Blackpoint Cyber is looking for someone who has: - A minimum of 5 years' hands-on Data Science experience with a proven track record of successfully implementing A.I. products and services. - Professional experience with the well-structured mindset, prioritizing efficiency, performance, security, and reliability. - Robust analytical and problem-solving skills geared towards data-driven decision making. - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders on all levels. Required Skills: - Cloud-based ML development (AWS) - Data Ingestion & Wrangling (S3, EC2, SageMaker) - Feature Engineering (Feature Pipelines, Feature Store) - Model Development, Analysis, & Deployment (SageMaker) - Inference Streams & Event-driven Processing (Kafka, Kinesis) - Scripting Language (Python, Bash) - Query Language (SQL, KsqlDB) - Containerized Services (Docker, Kubernetes) - MLOps Workflows (Sagemaker, MLFlow) - GitFlow & DevOps Best Practices Desirable Skills: - Time-Series Analysis - Transformer Neural Nets - Kubeflow - DVC (data versioning) - Agile Scrum - Programming (Java, Scala) - Experience in Cybersecurity, IoT, or NLP fields Your responsibilities: - Defining, implementing, training, and evaluating ML models. - Designing and implementing algorithms to ingest, wrangle, and transform model input data. - Conducting feature engineering to extract, construct, derive, and evaluate model inputs. - Performing statistical analyses according to stakeholder requirements and modeling objectives. - Implementing data, feature, and model lifecycle best practices. - Contributing to A.I. architecture and design decisions.  - Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Blackpoint Cyber's Security Operations Center (SOC), and our Adversary Pursuit Group (APG).
