About the Consumer Group
The Consumer Group, as the name suggests, manages the development of Wolt’s consumer-facing products, mastering user experience while scaling the platform to provide a mall in a pocket. Currently, our Pricing and AdTech teams within the Consumer Group, need more Data Scientist support.
In the Pricing domain, the Consumer Pricing Data Science team is committed to producing consumer-first pricing that's fair, transparent, and compliant. We create innovative pricing solutions that offer clear value for our users. We closely collaborate with Product, Engineering, Strategy & Operations to achieve both short-term and long-term business goals, conducting experiments, advanced analytics, and operational reporting to enhance our consumer pricing strategies.
Our Consumer Analytics team is comprised of Data Scientists and Analytics Engineers, partnering with Product, Engineering, and Strategy & Operations teams to guide measurements and decision-making using advanced analytics as we broaden the Wolt platform worldwide.
About the Role
As a Data Scientist at Wolt, you will delve into our data to address important business problems. This role covers identifying problem areas, creating solutions, designing experiments, and influencing decision-making. Unlike a typical analytics role, joining this team means you will be driving action from the frontlines.
If you enjoy identifying patterns in chaos, are thrilled to build from scratch, and have experience using analytics to affect Pricing, we are looking for someone like you.

• Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of experience in an analytics or data science position within an industry or research setting.
• Expertise in statistical analysis, including hypothesis testing, experimentation, and regression analysis using statistical software packages in Python, R, or equivalent.
• Proficiency in writing structured and efficient SQL queries for large data sets.
• Demonstrated ability to build intuitive data visualizations and dashboards influencing business decisions, using tools like Tableau, Mixpanel, Looker, or similar.
• The ability to exhaustively pursue new ideas and data sources, capable of methodically addressing ambiguous problems with a data-driven, hypothesis-based approach.
• Experience in Pricing analytics is considered an advantage.
