At Adyen, the Gen AI mission encompasses the creation of a state-of-the-art Generative AI platform. This platform is dedicated to powering various applications through advanced LLMs within Adyen’s robust GPU clusters on Kubernetes. We leverage popular open-source frameworks such as HuggingFace and LangChain, utilizing groundbreaking models like Llama and Mixtral. What You'll Do

As a Senior Data Scientist, you'll:

• Develop and finetune algorithms utilizing Generative AI and NLP techniques for diverse data products.
• Engage in full-spectrum module development from prompt engineering to model tuning and deployment.
• Provide technical leadership, coaching other data scientists in integrative AI applications and strategies.
• Synchronize with cross-department teams to embed LLM solutions seamlessly across platforms.
• Focus on efficient data processes and experimental models to refine and deploy advanced ML algorithms.
• Collaborate closely with our merchants and product teams to innovate machine learning solutions that address complex business needs, translating intricate models into accessible strategies.

Who You Are

You are ideally suited for this role if you have:

• Over 5 years of experience as a Data Scientist with a deep focus in NLP.
• A solid track record in the development and implementation of machine learning models, with expertise in Python and major ML frameworks like Pytorch.
• Experience with large language models and familiar with techniques like prompt engineering and the utilization of tools such as LangChain and LlamaIndex.
• Strong analytical skills capable of translating complex requirements into actionable data-driven outcomes.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate technical concepts across varied audiences.
• A proactive, leadership-oriented mindset geared towards innovative, iterative development.
