Job Overview

At Guidehouse, we are seeking a talented Senior Data Scientist to enhance our capabilities in data exploitation and optimization for an esteemed Intelligence Community (IC) Agency. This role does not require travel and mandates an active and current federal security clearance at the TOP SECRET/SCI level.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate closely with a dedicated team to support exploitation, production, and data process optimization tasks.

- Devise methods for effective querying, visualizing, aggregating, correlating, and analyzing large sets of data.

- Develop and execute strategies for improving data processes and database architectures, focusing on novel data set exposure, legacy data migration, and enhanced data querying capabilities.

- Create tailored tools and solutions to streamline analytical processes.

- Establish and propagate best practice tradecraft techniques that are both repeatable and teachable.

Position Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.

- Minimum of three years of experience with DoD, IC, or other federal agencies.

- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Visual Basic.

- Expertise in data visualization tools (e.g., ArcGIS, SPSS, SAS, MatLab, R) and data manipulation tools (e.g., SQL databases, ArcServer, NoSQL DBMS, Tableau, Insights, Oracle).

- Comprehensive understanding of structured data and relational databases.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Familiarity with IC, CENTCOM, and PACOM missions.

- Experience applying mathematical concepts to solve complex GEOINT analytic problems.

- Military background, professional certifications, or advanced degrees in related fields.
