The position:
Meetic relies heavily on data to drive and develop its activities. Truly data-driven, data is our daily compass in our decision-making.
The Data Science team is at the crossroads of key company issues and maximizes the information contained in our data. It is part of the Meetic Data Hub made up of all stakeholders around data (Date Science , ML/Data Engineer , DBA , BI).
Our vast data ecosystem allows us to intervene in all business areas: Recommendation of profiles for our users, pricing and optimization of business models, optimization of our subscription offers and "à la carte", customer understanding and experience, fight against bad behavior, marketing analytics and acquisition, image processing, ... and more!
Our technical environment: GCP, Python, Spark, Scala, SQL, Hadoop, PostgreSQL, Oracle, PowerBI, AWS…
We are looking for creative and passionate personalities who enjoy working in a dynamic and international environment.
Missions :
- Algorithm optimization
- Identify business opportunities for machine learning / deep learning applications and develop appropriate value-creating algorithms.
- Design, develop and implement predictive models to improve recommendations.
- Build descriptive and predictive analyzes to optimize conversion and revenue on our platforms.
- Conduct exploratory analyzes to better understand our customers and their ecosystems.
Required skills:
- Graduate of an engineering school or a Master's degree in mathematics / computer science, you have at least 5-6 years of experience in similar missions. You enjoy discovering scientific methods and challenging those in place. You keep in mind the purpose of your work: Improve the performance of our dating application!
- Mastery of Python/Scala
- Mastery of Spark
- Mastery of SQL language
- Deep knowledge of data analysis and machine learning
- You are comfortable discussing in meetings in English
- Excellent analytical and synthetic capabilities
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Rigorous scientific approach
- Team spirit and proactivity
- Curiosity and learning capacity
Appreciated skills:
- Knowledge of GCP
- Knowledge of TensorFlow or
- Mastery of Deep Learning techniques
- Mastery of Qlikview/Tableau or other BI tools
