Opportunity Highlights:

We are excited to welcome a new Senior Data Scientist to our skilled Pricing and Allocation team. In this role, you will:

• Collaborate with data analysts, machine learning engineers, and other data scientists to design and implement advanced models that promote operational excellence and informed decision-making.
• Develop state-of-the-art deep learning models focused on dynamic pricing and resource distribution.
• Work directly with machine learning engineers to streamline sophisticated models into production.
• Contribute to team growth by sharing knowledge, especially in areas of deep learning and reinforcement learning.
• Act as an ambassador for FREE NOW Data Science both internally and externally, showcasing your work at significant events.

What You Need to Succeed:

The ideal candidate will have:

• Over 5 years of experience as a data scientist with a strong background in operations research and optimization.
• In-depth knowledge of statistical analysis, optimization techniques, and advanced learning algorithms.
• Specific expertise in dynamic pricing and resource allocation.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• A passion for clean coding, reproducibility, learning, collaboration, and mentorship.
• An advanced degree in Maths, Physics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field—though exceptional candidates with different backgrounds will also be considered.

Bonus Skills:

• Experience with Spark, Airflow, Databricks, Metabase, Hive, Presto, or MLflow is advantageous but not mandatory.

This position is available to candidates in Berlin, Hamburg, London, or Athens, and includes occasional travel to meet with team members across locations.
