Job Description

The B&D (Orange Business) team in Toulouse is looking for its future Data Scientist to join its Data team.

What will be your day-to-day?

By joining Business & Decision (Orange Business), you can participate in a wide variety of activities in the Data field. Here is a glimpse:

• At the start of the project:
  • Gather and analyze client needs
  • Analyze the client's Data ecosystem and deduce the feasibility of the project
  • Estimate the workload
• During the implementation phase:
  • Exploratory and statistical analysis of the data
  • Be able to use and intervene on data pipelines
    • Develop feeding and labeling procedures
    • Structure the data to meet the model's needs
  • Develop statistical and machine learning models
  • Evaluate the performance of the models
  • Highlight the work through visualizations
  • Deploy production, set up model monitoring (MLOPS)

You will work in various environments, including:

• Technologies: Python, R, torch, tensorflow, JAX, scikit-learn, etc.
• Application areas: NLP, Computer Vision, audio processing
• Machine Learning methods: Deep Learning, clustering, classification, regression, optimization, indexing
• Vendors: GCP, Azure, AWS, Alteryx, Dataiku, Denodo, Knime, etc.

Depending on your development and our challenges, you may also evolve on cross-functional missions (consulting, coaching, pre-sales, training, audit, etc.). Initiative is always welcome!

Qualification

You have at least 5 years of experience in implementing Data Science / AI projects. You have already conducted exploratory analyses, developed statistical/Machine Learning models, and deployed your work.

Having worked on NLP or Computer Vision projects is a plus for your application.
