Senior Data Scientist (m/f/d)

Your Responsibilities

• Analyze meteorological, operational, and simulation data within the wind industry.
• Develop data-driven solutions for R&D, Sales, and Service within the ENERCON group.
• Implement analytics and machine learning solutions in a production environment.
• Support the development of end-to-end data products from ideation to post-deployment monitoring.
• Provide data insights to stakeholders and decision-makers through visualizations, dashboards, or APIs.
• Lead R&D projects focused on machine learning and big data.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, natural sciences, engineering, or a comparable field
• Excellent programming skills in Python, R, or Matlab
• Strong expertise in data exploration, analysis, and machine learning
• Experience with deep learning techniques (reinforcement learning, GenAI) is a plus
• Familiarity with GitLab, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, or Docker is preferred
• Experience with SQL or MS Azure cloud technologies is desirable
• Wind industry experience is preferred
