Key Responsibilities

The Senior Data Scientist at Noblis will:

• Acquire and maintain data from primary and secondary sources.
• Organize large data sets to find usable information.
• Design, develop, and implement databases and data collection systems.
• Optimize statistical efficiency and data quality through analytics strategies.
• Troubleshoot data and perform quality assurance tasks.
• Identify trends and patterns in complex data sets and make data-driven predictions.
• Assist with software upgrades and strategic decisions concerning new systems.
• Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure business effectiveness.
• Monitor performance and support data integrity and normalization initiatives.
• Collaborate with various teams for process improvements and data governance policies.
• Conduct data lifecycle analysis and define new data collection processes.
• Draft documentation to communicate trends and predictions to stakeholders.
• Manage and design data environments, including overseeing database security and metadata.
• Evaluate and update data systems.
• Build statistical models and utilize machine learning techniques.
• Leverage automation and ML models for data management and recommendations.
• Develop new analytical tools to support IC analysts.
• Employ technical frameworks and collaboration tools like AWS and Git.
• Visualize complex data using graphs and infographics.

Required Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in Data Science or a similar technical field.
• MS/MA in mathematics, engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• Experience with ML and data science packages like PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn.
• Knowledge of databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB.
• Programming proficiency in Python, SQL, and Java.
• Experience with Docker or Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in Git.
• Experience developing ETL processes for data pipelines.
• API service development proficiency.
• Experience working with IC Agencies.

Desired Qualifications

• Knowledge of IC systems, processes, and policies.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Salary is determined by various factors, including education, certifications, competencies, experience, and location. For full-time and eligible part-time employees, the salary range for this position is:

USD $120,100.00 - USD $210,200.00 /Yr.
