Senior Data Scientist Role

You will work closely with your client to understand their queries and needs, and then delve into their data-rich environment to identify the missing pieces of their information puzzle. You will guide your colleagues, develop algorithms, write scripts, construct predictive analytics, apply machine learning, and use the right mix of tools and frameworks to transform that set of disparate data points into objective answers to help federal health organizations make informed decisions. You Have:

• 2+ years of experience in data analytics, software engineering, data engineering, data science, or machine learning engineering
• Experience with Python development
• Experience with briefing military leaders and officers
• Experience with automating analytic workflows and data frames and utilizing quantitative modeling and supervised and unsupervised machine learning algorithms to support operational requirements
• Ability to communicate technical requirements to non-technical client subject matter experts
• TS/SCI clearance
• High school diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with PostgreSQL
• Experience with software development, including API development, database management, and software architecture development for containerization tools, including Docker or Kubernetes
• Experience with deployment
• Experience with Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) tools, data warehousing, and data pipeline development
• Experience with pandas or geopandas
• Experience with visualization tools, including Tableau, Anaconda, or R Studio
• Experience in Department of Defense and Intelligence Community domains
• Experience in Special Operations Forces
• Knowledge of artificial intelligence principles and practices
• Bachelor's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s unique combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $93,400.00 to $212,000.00 (annualized USD). The figure shown represents the typical salary range for this position and is only one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
