Job Description:

As a Senior Data Scientist within our core team, you will collaborate closely with practice leaders and clients to delineate business issues, understanding the industry context, data intricacies, potential risks, and limitations. Your role will involve:

• Translating business problems into actionable Data Science projects, proposing various methodologies along with their advantages and drawbacks.
• Designing detailed project plans that outline milestones, timelines, responsibilities, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Developing and managing efficient data pipelines within client architectures, utilizing SQL, Spark, and Cloud-based big data technologies.
• Constructing large, complex datasets that address functional business needs from both internal and external sources.
• Creating tools that offer insightful analytics into key business metrics such as customer acquisition and operational efficiency.
• Executing data cleaning, quality control, and integration using our Advanced Data Science Platform.
• Performing statistical analysis and employing machine learning algorithms to draw meaningful conclusions that inform strategic decision-making.
• Documenting and deploying predictive models within client environments to enhance actionable outcomes.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you should have:

• An MS degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
• At least two years of professional experience post-graduation in advanced areas of Data Science including predictive modeling, machine learning, and statistical analysis.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Excel with proven capabilities in deploying machine learning models into production settings.
• Experience with SQL relational databases and familiarity with a variety of databases like Hadoop/Hive.
• Experience in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google) and knowledge of analytics tools like Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or Optimizely is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills, adept problem-solving abilities, and comfort working under tight deadlines.
