Job Opportunity: Senior Healthcare Data Scientist

We are on the lookout for a Senior Healthcare Data Scientist to enhance our understanding of doctor performance and to develop algorithms that drive Garner’s rankings and recommendations. This role will report directly to the Vice President of Data Science Research.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing data-driven algorithms that optimize our care navigation, doctor rankings, and healthcare-related financial products by leveraging medical and healthcare economics insights.
• Gaining deep insights into medical and healthcare economics through both data analysis and qualitative research.
• Contributing innovative ideas on assessing doctors and changing behaviors to achieve higher quality and cost-effective healthcare.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• 2-5 years of professional experience in healthcare and/or data science fields.
• Formal education in both data science and a healthcare-related field (e.g., applied medicine, biostatistics, health informatics, health economics, health insurance).
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• A proactive attitude with a willingness to tackle diverse tasks to ensure the company's success.
• Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment.

Compensation and Benefits:

The target salary range for this position is $150,000 - $195,000. Individual compensation will depend on various factors including qualifications, skills, and applicable laws. This role also includes eligibility for equity incentives and a competitive benefits package.
