We are currently seeking a talented Senior Machine Learning Engineer to enhance our capable teams in Bangalore or Pune, India. This role involves steering our data science endeavors particularly within the ad tech spectrum, influencing various aspects from audience segmentation to exchange optimization, thereby maximizing partnership outcomes and revenue generation.

Your Role and Responsibilities

Core Domain: Ad-Exchange Optimization

In this pivotal position, you'll focus on:

• Developing models for Win Price Prediction across various auction setups.
• Conducting Supply and Demand forecasting to model time-sensitive availability and interest.
• Valuing inventory effectively in the open market and aligning supply with demand dynamically.

Research and Development Tasks:

As a vital part of our team, you will be responsible for:

• Designing and developing cutting-edge machine learning systems and models tailored for the ad tech industry.
• Creating real-time algorithms to optimize ad exchanges.
• Analyzing complex data sets to discover patterns and insights that drive strategic decisions.
• Conducting A/B testing, developing performance monitoring dashboards, and maintaining high-quality data standards.
• Collaborating across global teams to integrate and scale data science solutions.

Collaborative Efforts:

You will work closely with product, engineering, and sales teams to:

• Drive the application of data science throughout Verve Group.
• Develop end-to-end data science products in collaboration with data and backend engineering teams.
• Enhance and extend solutions to our affiliates and market partners around the world.

What You Will Bring

We are looking for candidates with:

• At least 5 years of industry experience as a Data Scientist or ML Engineer, preferably within the advertising domain.
• An advanced degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, or computer science. A PhD is a plus.
• Expertise in Python, SQL, TensorFlow, and other analytical and programming tools.
• A strong track record of developing data science projects from concept through production.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills, with a knack for problem-solving and innovation.

Experience in auction optimization, game theory, or similar fields is desirable.
