The Role

In this pivotal role, you'll be at the forefront of:

• Collaborating with data scientists to engineer and deploy machine learning models efficiently at scale.
• Creating and implementing solutions that address complex machine learning engineering challenges during KAYAK's scaling and standardization of data science processes.
• Building and maintaining libraries, frameworks, or entire systems while ensuring high standards in testing and code quality.
• Automating large-scale data management and analysis tasks.
• Monitoring and optimizing services within production environments.

Who You Are

Whether you hold a bachelor’s degree or have gained equivalent experience in a quantitative field like computer science or engineering, your ability to adapt and master new technologies is what truly matters. This role is well-suited for those with strong experience in Python development and familiar with libraries such as PyTorch, Pandas, and scikit-learn. Successful candidates usually have experience with SQL databases, Docker, and Linux systems, and are adept at debugging and problem-solving within production environments.
