Our Ads Marketplace Quality team is expanding, and we are on the hunt for an experienced software engineer to enhance our world-class marketplace. This role involves the development and implementation of strategies to amplify the efficacy of our Ads Marketplace, with a strong focus on our Ad Relevance initiatives aimed at revolutionizing Reddit’s advertising environment to deliver highly pertinent ads to our users.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deploy advanced machine learning models to refine ad relevance across Reddit.
• Lead the research and implementation of innovative model architectures and algorithms to optimize our ads ranking and auction processes.
• Steer technical roadmaps and manage day-to-day project execution while contributing to the team's strategic vision.
• Mentor junior engineers, leading by example in technical design and implementation.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers and data scientists to drive innovation and product development.

Essential Qualifications:

• Proven experience in driving key performance indicators via model architecture and feature engineering.
• A minimum of 3 years in product development and 4 years in the end-to-end implementation of industry-level machine learning models, including training, testing, and deployment.
• Expertise in managing complex data pipelines and proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, Golang, and C++.
• Background in Ads Marketplace and Ads Relevance will be considered an advantage.
• A strong desire to mentor and enhance team capability.
