Your Role: Senior Machine Learning Engineer - Content Enrichment

Key Responsibilities:

• Content Understanding and Tagging: Employ advanced machine learning models to boost our understanding of over 130 million elements and templates. Your work will enhance metadata and improve our revolutionary Magic products through machine learning.
• Data-Driven Content Strategy: Analyze data to enhance the scope and accuracy of our vast content library, optimizing user experience in diverse markets.
• Content Enrichment Ecosystem Development: Play a pivotal role in developing semi-automated content production systems to elevate metadata quality and search efficacy.
• Human-in-the-Loop ML Training: Oversee human-centered machine learning workflows, enhancing model development and efficiency.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with experts across Canva to foster innovation and streamline efforts in content enrichment.
• Quality Assessment and Scalability: Continuously refine processes to better the precision and effectiveness of our enriched data, supporting large-scale ML initiatives.

Ideal Candidate:

You’re a great fit if you have:

• 5+ years of machine learning or software engineering experience, preferably in a SaaS environment.
• Expertise in deploying machine learning models with a proficient command of Python.
• A robust portfolio demonstrating successful visual AI projects or similar.
• Knowledge in tools like PyTorch, Kubernetes, Docker, and SQL.
• A strong academic background with a degree in Computer Engineering, Science, or Mathematics.
