We launched our first international office in the historic Claddagh area of Galway, Ireland in April 2019. This office is pivotal as we expand our Software Engineering, Product Development, Machine Learning Engineering, and Data Science capabilities across Europe.

About the Role:

As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at RTR, you will develop cutting-edge data products that substantially influence both our customer experience and internal operations. You will take full ownership of projects from conceptualization through to integration, working closely with our product and engineering teams to transform data into actions that drive our business forward.

What You’ll Do:

• Engage in a dynamic team environment where you are constantly challenged and expanding your skills.
• Build and deploy data-driven algorithms that are integral to our customer-facing applications and overall success.
• Collaborate closely with business, product, and engineering teams, playing a key role in both decision-making and execution.
• Impact various business areas like inventory management, logistics optimization, user experience personalization, pricing strategies, and more.

About You:

• Have at least 5 years of experience in building and deploying data products, preferably using Python.
• Possess experience in cloud services (AWS, GCP) and production machine learning models (Tensorflow, PyTorch, Keras).
• Capable of owning projects through their entire lifecycle—from data analysis to deployment and monitoring.
• Driven to make significant business impacts, move quickly, follow through and be accountable for results.
• An owner’s mindset with a commitment to leaving things better than you found them, coupled with a deep-seated curiosity and an open mind.
