Job Description: Senior Machine Learning Engineer (m/f/d)

The Role at a Glance:

Join our innovative teams who are using tailored large language models (LLMs) on AWS infrastructure, combined with Vector DBs, to enhance job matching through semantic search. This pivotal role involves designing, planning, and implementing LLM-based systems, including advanced retrieval augmentation generative (RAG) frameworks. You'll work closely with Data Scientists, Machine Learning Engineers, Big Data Engineers, Cloud Software Engineers, and DevOps in a collaborative Scrum environment to streamline deployment and establish MLOps best practices for handling large models.

Your Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, your responsibilities include implementing and productionizing ML-based services using Amazon SageMaker, enhancing the delivery of machine learning products, and setting benchmarks in MLOps, IaC, and CI/CD practices. Your efforts will directly enhance the job-seeking and hiring experience globally by creating frameworks that semantically match talents to job profiles. Your role demands extensive collaboration, a willingness to learn, and a proactive approach in technical discussions to continually advance our search and recommender solutions.

Your Expertise:

You should demonstrate a strong track record in elevating processes, mentoring junior engineers, and contributing effectively across teams. A systematic approach to problem-solving and fluency in English are essential.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 5 years experience in Machine Learning Engineering, Data Engineering, or related fields
- Proficiency in production-level Python and experience with Amazon SageMaker in deploying LLMs
- Familiarity with LLM-related packages like PyTorch, Transformers, etc.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), CI/CD, and test automation best practices
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; a Master’s degree is preferred
