Senior Machine Learning Engineer, Predictive AI at HubSpot

HubSpot is seeking an experienced Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our dynamic AI team. In this crucial role, you will develop and implement cutting-edge machine learning models and algorithms to elevate the HubSpot Sales Hub products. Your innovation will shape the Predictive AI Features of Sales Hub, from Forecasting to sales reps' action recommendations and predictive insights of Sales pipelines.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, you will:

  • Design, develop, and implement advanced machine learning models that significantly enhance customer experience.
  • Continually iterate and optimize models to improve their performance and accuracy.
  • Evaluate different machine learning algorithms to select the most suitable for specific use cases.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and software engineers to successfully integrate models into product features.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate them into your work.

Minimum Qualifications:

We expect candidates to have:

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a machine learning engineer.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, etc.
  • Experience with time-series forecasting, classification, next action recommendation, and relevancy + ranking.
  • Solid understanding of statistical methods, data mining techniques, and predictive modeling.
  • Experience with MLOps practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bonus points for:

  • Master's degree in Data Science or Machine Learning.
  • Experience with natural language processing (NLP) techniques.
  • Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
  • Knowledge of sales processes and CRM systems.
