This role entails:

The Advanced Technology Group (ATG) at ServiceNow is a customer-focused innovation sector that builds intelligent software and enhanced user experiences using current and cutting-edge technologies to deliver industry-leading work experiences for customers. We are a team of researchers, applied scientists, engineers, and product managers with twin goals. We construct and evolve the AI platform and partner with teams to create products and comprehensive AI-powered work experiences. Similarly, we lay the foundations, research, experiment, and reduce the risks associated with AI technologies that will pave the way for new work experiences in the future.

You will play a significant role in developing AI and Machine Learning (ML) solutions that revolutionize user experience and workflow efficiency in enterprise services. Traditional analytical tools typically require a technically proficient user for even straightforward results. However, we are adopting a fresh approach with the assumption that any user, regardless of their technical knowledge, will be able to utilize the AI/ML solutions we build to operate services in the enterprise environment in a thoughtful and scalable way. We are in the early stages with our first adopter customers and we need your help to create and deliver a broad array of solutions to our 5k+ enterprise customers worldwide.

  • Create top-notch cloud-based AI/ML solutions to power intelligent enterprise services
  • Collaborate daily with a team of dedicated developers, product managers, and quality engineers to produce high-quality software
  • Work closely with product owners to understand detailed requirements and take ownership of your code all the way from design to implementation, testing and delivery of superior solutions for our users

Qualifications

To excel in this role, you need:

  • A minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 6 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 3 years of experience; or equivalent professional experience.
  • Expertise in Java or Python, OOP, Design Patterns, efficient time and space algorithms
  • Experience in creating new products that exploit challenging high-performance algorithms
  • A propensity for coding efficient, object-oriented, modular, and quality software
  • Knowledge of basic AI/ML techniques and algorithms
  • Familiarity with unit testing, profiling, and code tuning
