What Are We Looking For?

The Detection Team at SentinelOne is seeking an experienced Machine Learning Engineer to join our Static AI team. This team is dedicated to developing advanced machine learning models that operate globally on millions of devices to make real-time decisions, stopping malware before execution. By combining data science, ML engineering, and software engineering, the Static AI team researches, develops, and supports ML-based malware detection engines across Windows, Mac, Linux, and cloud environments.

What You Will Be Doing

• Designing and delivering cutting-edge ML-based detection engines
• Researching new AI/ML methodologies and collaborating with peers to integrate the most promising advancements into our product
• Building analytics systems that learn from diverse internal and external data sources to enhance existing ML models and develop new ones

What Skills and Experience Will You Need?

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent experience
• Experience in designing, training, and evaluating models for production systems
• Proficiency in collecting, building, and tailoring large datasets for machine learning model training
• Ability to work collaboratively to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Willingness to work in a diverse, globally distributed team

Preferred Skills and Interests

• Experience with security products, especially detection systems
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and MLOps
