We are seeking an experienced Machine Learning Engineer to join our team and contribute to this mission.

Job Description

In this role, you will be tasked with ideating and developing privacy-preserving AI algorithms and data processing pipelines to enhance the magical Camera and Photos experiences. Candidates should have a proven track record of innovation, strong collaboration skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and a passion for developing high-quality software.

Key Qualifications

• Exceptional problem-solving and interpersonal skills
• 5+ years of experience building machine learning and deep learning software solutions in a production environment
• Hands-on experience with large language models and transformer-based models
• Experience in Search and Retrieval, Recommendations, and Ranking
• Strong applied software methodology, process, and quality skills
• Proven ability to excel in a fast-paced development team

Education & Experience

M.S. or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience

Additional Requirements

• Experience writing Swift/Objective-C applications for iOS or macOS
• Experience optimizing ML and Deep Learning algorithms for embedded systems

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is just one part of our total compensation package. The base pay range for this role is between $161,700 and $284,900, and your actual pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
