As a new member of our compact ML Ops team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the architecture and technological practices of a burgeoning ecosystem, designed to empower our Data Scientists and deliver substantial value to our Business teams.

Your Role and Responsibilities

Leadership in Technology:

• Engage deeply with stakeholders to understand customer requirements and design targeted solutions that address core needs effectively.
• Spearhead the adoption of our data platform by partnering effectively with internal clients.
• Lead by example in setting and enforcing high standards in documentation, testing, resiliency, monitoring, and code quality.
• Seek continuous improvement by streamlining code, infrastructure, and data models.
• Guide and inspire team members, supervise design sessions, code reviews, and operational processes.

As a Senior Engineer:

• Create sustainable and efficient solutions by writing robust, reusable, and well-documented code.
• Build complex architectures integrating various services and SaaS tools, with a proficient understanding of cloud environments (AWS, GCP).
• Optimize tech expenditure and systematically reduce tech debt.

Professional Expertise Required

Architectural Insight: Experience in shaping ML Ops architecture that delivers tangible business value, including conducting PoCs, managing significant data/code migrations, and strategic planning.

Hands-on Technical Skills: Proficient in managing infrastructure for ML workflows, data pipelines (both batch and streaming), and CI/CD practices.

Technical Leadership: A history of tech leadership and stakeholder engagement, with a keen understanding of adapting technical communication to different audiences.
