Salary Range
We offer competitive salaries based on your level of expertise:
- Mid Level: 14,200 - 19,690 PLN gross
- Senior Level: 18,400 - 25,410 PLN gross

About Our Team
Our Data & AI team consists of over 150 BigData engineers, specialized in various fields:
- Building dedicated tools for BigData processes
- Implementing Machine Learning models
- Client-focused development
- Researching innovative solutions using machine learning
Responsibilities
As a Big Data Engineer at Allegro, you will:
- Develop highly scalable and fault-tolerant data ingestion for millions of Allegro customers
- Work with a hybrid solution combining on-premise and Google Cloud Platform services such as Spark, Kafka, Beam, BigQuery, PubSub, or Dataflow
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have:
- Programming experience in Scala, Python, or Java
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, data storage, and processing frameworks - especially Spark
- Knowledge of GCP (specifically Composer) or other public cloud environments like Azure or AWS
- Proficiency in good practices (clean code, code review, TDD, CI/CD)
- Efficiency in navigating Unix/Linux systems
- Team-working skills and a positive attitude
- Fluency in English (B2 level)
