Position: Senior Software Engineer, Machine Learning

We are actively seeking a passionate Senior Software Engineer with expertise in Machine Learning to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in advancing our proprietary document extraction technology. You will have full ownership of your work and significantly contribute to its evolution.

Responsibilities:

• Implement new features in our in-house document extraction solution using Optical Character Recognition and Generative AI.
• Conduct data analysis and propose automation solutions leveraging Machine Learning techniques.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define requirements, prioritize tasks, and resolve issues effectively.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, tooling enhancements, and team skill development.
• Proactively identify and mitigate technical risks impacting project delivery or product quality.
• Execute the implementation of automated tests to ensure product reliability and quality assurance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in one or more programming languages: Python, Scala, or Java. Professional development experience in Python is highly desirable.
• Advanced Math skills (e.g., graph theory, naive Bayes, information theory, computer vision).
• Strong expertise in RESTful Web Services.
• Proficient in data modeling using relational and non-relational (NoSQL) databases.
• Proficiency in Git.
• Experience with Linux and Shell scripting is a plus.
• Knowledge of Ansible or similar provisioning tools is a plus.
