Job Overview

As a vital member of the Global Data & Analytics team at The Coca-Cola Company, you will contribute to building and maintaining cutting-edge cloud-based analytics solutions on Azure that significantly impact our global business growth. Key Responsibilities

Your role involves leading the design and development process for data solutions, from inception through to deployment:

  • Guide and provide technical expertise to team members working on Spark-based data engineering projects using Scala and SQL.
  • Develop robust data pipelines for data ingestion and transformation.
  • Manage orchestration of the pipelines using Azure Synapse.
  • Handle source and version control with GitHub, including creating GitHub actions for deployment of artifacts.
  • Create and manage SQL tables/views in Synapse for enhanced reporting and visualization purposes.
  • Investigate and address any issues related to data pipeline performance or errors.

Qualifications & Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience with JVM (Java or Scala preferred) and Spark in data engineering.
  • Proficiency in programming languages like Scala, Python, or Java.
  • Experience with GIT/Azure Repos & Maven, and familiarity with agile development practices.

Desired Skills

  • Deep knowledge of distributed computing (Spark), cloud architectures, and SQL.
  • Experience in working with public cloud services such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
  • Personal attributes like creativity, tenacity, curiosity, and a passion for technical excellence.

Salary & Benefits

Salary Range: $138,200 - $161,500, depending on location, skills, and experience.

Annual Incentive: Target performance-based incentive at 15%
