Job Overview: We are seeking experienced and innovative ML engineers to establish the core technical foundations for AI-centric e-commerce, which will create a significant impact on Coupang and the entire industry. Basic Qualifications: 10+ years of experience in technology companies or organizations. 5+ years of experience in AI/ML and should be familiar with the latest deep learning techniques. Hands-on ability to design and independently implement high-quality algorithms/systems. Ability to delve deep into the algorithms/systems and initiate ideas for improvements. Ability to efficiently conduct experiments, analyze results, and iterate rapidly. A solid record of achieving significant business impacts through technology innovations. Excellent communication and collaboration across teams and functionalities. Preferred Skills: Knowledge of e-commerce or enthusiasm to learn it. Experience in applying Large Language Models or Large Image Models in an industry. Pay & Benefits: Our compensation reflects the labor cost across several US geographic markets. At Coupang, base pay is only a part of your total compensation. The base pay for this position ranges from $159,000/year in our lowest geographic market to $324,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay depends on several factors such as market location and may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
