We are currently seeking a dedicated Snowflake Data Architect to lead the development of our enterprise data and analytics platforms, playing a crucial role in shaping our data engineering strategy.

About the Role

The Snowflake Data Architect position is essential for developing, optimizing, and overseeing our data models and ensuring they meet our business needs effectively. This role involves expanding and maintaining data pipelines, ensuring data governance, and implementing continuous delivery, with a strong focus on Cloud and Advanced Analytics technologies.

Key responsibilities include:

• Deep understanding and experience with both relational and NoSQL data stores, including advanced methods like star and snowflake schemas.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL, Unix Shell/Python scripting, and database performance optimization.
• Design and execution of cloud-based data warehouse solutions using Snowflake integrated with multiple data platforms.
• Strong experience in data modeling, schema design optimized for Snowflake, and cloud technologies including AWS.
• Building and optimizing data pipelines and implementing ELT solutions using tools such as Matillion, Fivetran, and Informatica.
• Providing expert-level guidance on Snowflake performance tuning, security, and data management best practices.

This is a consulting role that requires up to 50% travel and preference will be given to candidates residing in CST or EST time zones to coordinate more effectively with our offshore teams.

What We Look For

Our ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in building and managing Snowflake Data Warehouse solutions, demonstrating a proven track record in technical specification, development, and implementation. Certification as a Snowflake Cloud Data Warehouse Architect and experience in the healthcare domain are advantageous but not required.
