About the Role

As a Software Engineer II, you will join the Asset and Wealth Management Finance Technology Team, where you will execute standard software solutions and contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle. You will write secure, high-quality code in programming languages like Python and Java, design robust systems, and troubleshoot complex software issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and troubleshoot software solutions considering upstream and downstream system implications.
• Utilize SDLC tools to enhance automation efficiency and effectiveness.
• Analyze diverse data sets to identify problems and inform decision-making.
• Contribute to a team culture that prioritizes diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

• At least 2 years of experience in software engineering with a focus on Spark, Hadoop, and Pyspark environments.
• Proficiency in Python or Java and relational databases.
• Hands-on experience with cloud technologies, preferably AWS, including migrations to the cloud.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the entire Software Development Life Cycle and exposure to agile methodologies.
• Emerging knowledge in at least one technical discipline such as cloud computing, AI, or machine learning.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional exposure to AWS Cloud services.
• Experience with ETL processes and platforms like Snowflake.
