Key Responsibilities:

As a Software Engineer III, you will:

• Design and implement cloud-native data solutions that are scalable and sustainable.
• Maintain detailed knowledge of cloud services and platforms to drive strategic IT solutions.
• Collaborate effectively with internal teams and business leaders to capture requirements and create Target State Architectures.
• Develop engineering standards, best practices, and procedures, ensuring data integrity and compliance with classification requirements.
• Utilize your expertise in microservices, APIs, and modern cloud architectures to enhance system integration and maintainability.
• Leverage your experience with AWS, GCP, and Azure, particularly AWS, to architect solutions in both private and public cloud environments.
• Innovate using serverless technologies to reduce physical and virtual server footprints.
• Build real-time data streaming applications utilizing Apache Kafka, Amazon Kinesis, and other technologies.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in big data environments, working with various data types and structures.
• Strong expertise in Java, Scala, and open-source frameworks like Apache Spark and Apache Airflow.
• Profound knowledge in building and scaling applications using containers and orchestrators like Kubernetes and Docker.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Jira.

Nice to Have:

• Experience designing and developing data pipelines using tools like Databricks and Snowflake.
• Skills in migrating on-premise data solutions to cloud platforms.
• Experience implementing security solutions for data storage and processing in the cloud.
• Familiarity with traditional big data systems such as Hadoop, Cassandra, and Hive.
