Role Responsibilities:

As a key member of our dynamic team, you will:

• Execute software solutions, focusing on design, development, and technical troubleshooting while adopting unconventional approaches to overcome complex challenges.
• Develop secure, high-quality production code and maintain algorithms that integrate smoothly with various systems.
• Create crucial architecture and design artifacts for complex applications, ensuring that design constraints are adhered to during software development.
• Analyze large data sets to produce visualizations and reports, driving continuous improvement of applications and systems.
• Identify underlying patterns in data to enhance coding hygiene and system architecture.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

Our ideal candidate will have:

• At least 6 years of relevant experience and formal training or certifications in software engineering.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Spark and Python and familiarity with different Hadoop components.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms, especially AWS components like EMR, RDS, and S3.
• Knowledge of big data optimization, data pipeline implementations, and the handling of columnar data formats.
• Expertise in automation, continuous delivery methods, and a robust understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Advanced knowledge of agile methodologies, including CI/CD, Applicant Resiliency, and Security.
• Practical experience with cloud-native technologies, preferably in AWS.
• In-depth understanding of the financial services industry's IT systems.
