Job Responsibilities:

• Design and build revolutionary new applications and modernize existing ones using cutting-edge technologies.
• Implement both batch and real-time software components adhering to architectural standards focused on reliability, security, operational efficiency, and performance.
• Guarantee the quality of deployed software through rigorous automated unit, integration, and acceptance testing.
• Collaborate with global agile teams across development, support, and business sectors to align with sprint goals successfully.
• Engage fully in all agile practices, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog reviews, demos, and retrospectives.
• Provide crucial level 2 support for production systems.
• Continuously develop skills pertinent to system processes, methodologies, and secure coding practices.
• Contribute to a team culture that prioritizes diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience and formal training or certification in software engineering principles.
• Proficiency in developing Java applications utilizing Spring Boot.
• Proven ability in designing, developing, and deploying software solutions on AWS with familiarity in EC2, EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, and Aurora.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• AWS Cloud Practitioner, Developer, or Solutions Architect certification is highly preferred.
• Experience with Terraform for deploying infrastructure-as-code to public clouds.
• Familiarity with Apache Spark or other large-scale data processing engines.
• Proven skills in Linux scripting using Bash, KSH, or Python.
