Key Responsibilities:

As a Machine Learning Software Engineer at Meta, you will:

• Research, design, develop, and test software at the operating systems level, including compilers and network distribution software.
• Address a wide array of problems related to ranking, classification, recommendation, and optimization tasks such as payment fraud, conversion rate prediction, and spam detection using cutting-edge technologies.
• Develop scalable systems and algorithms leveraging deep learning and data regression models.
• Analyze technology bottlenecks and synthesize requirements to propose robust solutions.
• Work collaboratively with the engineering team to code and deliver project components.
• Optimize machine learning methods for parallel environments including distributed clusters and GPUs.

Minimum Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• A Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
• At least 24 months of experience in a related occupation, engaging with technologies such as machine learning, natural language processing, and data mining.
• Adeptness in programming with Python, PHP, or Haskell, and working with relational databases and SQL.
• Proficiency in software development tools such as VIM or Emacs, and revision control systems like GIT or Subversion.
• A strong foundation in object-oriented software development, API design, and unit testing techniques.

Our Offer:

At Meta, the salary range for this role is $188,237 to $200,200 per year, plus bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits. We are dedicated to fostering an inclusive environment and providing support needed for success.
