About the Role

As a Software Engineer specializing in Machine Learning based in Tel Aviv, you will play a pivotal role in our Meta FinTech's Advertiser Risk team. This team focuses on minimizing fraud and simplifying the advertising experience, generating a significant impact using machine learning solutions.

Your main responsibilities will involve:

• Leading projects and small teams to promote machine learning initiatives.
• Designing scalable classifiers and tools using ML, data rules, and model-based systems.
• Gathering requirements, devising effective solution roadmaps, and participating in software development in collaboration with our engineering team.

What We're Looking for

Ideal candidates will possess:

• A strong background in developing machine learning models aimed at significant business impact, including but not limited to fraud detection.
• At least three years of software engineering experience post-PhD, focusing on areas such as machine learning, data mining, artificial intelligence, or recommendation systems.
• A proven track record in technical leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and setting strategic directions for technology teams.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.

Preferred qualifications include:

• An advanced degree (Masters or PhD) in a computational field.
• Hands-on experience with Python, PHP/Hack, and designing large-scale software applications.
