Role Summary:

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Senior Data Scientist to join our Consumer Information Services (CIS) Analytic Consulting group. This pivotal role involves utilizing your advanced programming skills and deep understanding of credit bureau data to drive strategic insights and solutions across various phases of the customer credit lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize analytical expertise to interpret and leverage credit bureau data effectively.
  • Enhance algorithmic efficiency and optimize code within a Big Data environment using Python and Spark.
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for Python and Spark on Big Data platforms, providing guidance to the analytics team.
  • Develop and implement models, perform testing, and integrate machine learning solutions into production environments.
  • Deliver high-level analytical support for complex, high-impact modeling, and analytical projects.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver data-driven recommendations and solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience, preferably in the Financial Services sector.
  • Proficient in Python and Spark with a strong background in statistical and data analysis.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage comprehensive analytical projects from conception through to final delivery.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present complex data to technical and non-technical audiences.
