Job Profile: India Data Analytics and AI Lead

We are seeking a visionary India Data Analytics and AI Lead to play a pivotal role in transforming Northern Trust into an AI and Analytics-driven organization. This position involves establishing an AI function from scratch within India’s Global Capability Center (GCC) for Wealth Management (WM). Collaborating with the Chief Data and Analytics Officer, India Data and AI head, and Technology Practices, you will develop and execute a comprehensive Analytics and AI strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and lead AI and Analytics strategy, ensuring alignment with corporate and business objectives.
• Exhibit exceptional relationship management skills to coordinate efforts between data owners, custodians, and consumers.
• Engage in industry forums and conferences to glean insights for shaping domain strategy and industry trends.
• Resolve conflicts among data stakeholders to ensure smooth operational processes.
• Balance business value and cost to drive efficiency and risk mitigation in data architecture and operational models.

Core Skills and Experience

• Profound understanding of key business drivers in data management and consumption.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Analytics and AI data.
• Proven leadership and organizational skills.
• Strong facilitation and conflict resolution abilities.
• Excellent analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills.
• Capability to spearhead enterprise-wide initiatives for common data dictionaries and business ontology.
• Proactive in addressing data issues.
• 10+ years of experience in financial services with deep domain knowledge and broad business unit experience.
• Preferred graduate from premier institutions like IIT or IIM.
